Karma and bhagya

A best example to show the interconnection between karma (deeds) and bhagya (fruit) is the Rama - Ravana horoscope.

The horoscopes of Lord Rama and Ravana are almost similar, with most of the planets occupying their exalted or own signs, with a small difference being the lagna of them, which is Cancer for Rama, and Aries for Ravana.

If this is the case, both of them must have had good life. But here comes the picture of karma. While Lord Rama sticked to his principles through out his life, like one wife, respectfulness, truth and loyalty, Ravana practiced bad karmas, like not obeying his laws, deserving Sita, betraying his brothers and people.
By these bad karmas, Ravana ruined his fate, and his horoscope could not help him.
Finally he had to pay off for his bad deeds, inspite of possessing a best chart.

This simple horoscope example is sufficient to say that there is a huge relation between our karma and bhagya. If we do good deeds (in our past life, or present life), we get good results, and if we do bad deeds (even in our present life), our (good) horoscope will not help us, and we have to certainly pay off one or the other day !

Vibheeshana (Ravana's brother) has joined hands with Rama, and supported him. Hence he travelled in a good path, and escaped his fate (unlike his brother Ravana, who had spoiled his own bhagya with his bad deeds).

It says that though we might have performed bad deeds in our past lives, if we maintain and support (follow) truth, we can escape the wrath of our fate.

Pass this message to all your friends and family members, so that they realise the importance of truthful living.

Jai Shri Ram.
